Book Review: Let It Be Easy

January 4, 2022 by stayathomefit@gmail.com 2 Comments

Can we live 2022 a little easier and get a little closer to our dreams too? I say, “Hell yes!” Or at least, “God, I hope so!” (Just kidding- I really do think it’s a hell yes.) And I think Susie Moore, author of Let It Be Easy: Simple Ways to Stop Stressing & Start Living, would too. That’s why I’m here today to share this book review! It’s a great way to start a new year, and “let it be easy” is a great reminder for all of us. One we could probably stand to hear again and again.

Blog Title: Book Review, Let It Be Easy by Susie Moore

So this book is made up of 143 little chapters. Most are about 2 pages. That makes this a perfect book for a daily dose of positivity, mindset, and personal development.

Susie Moore uses her own stories and stories from friends and clients to illustrate simple principles we can all apply to make life a little easier and less stressful.

Here are some of my favorite quotes from the book…

Susie Moore Quote

If your top five dreams are the most important things to you, can you spend a little time each day on them? There will never be a better time. It’s never about right timing, it’s about conviction. And you owe it to yourself to have more conviction.

Can I realize my dreams in an easy, small way today?

A vision coming to life is driven by your daily, consistent actions that make it real.

Most people never, ever question their beliefs. Once you start, you’ll realize the superpowers you have within you.

Ask yourself: What do I have control over right now?

When you shift gears to 100 percent, there are no more decisions to make.

…trust in yourself comes from follow-through.

Our attention is split when we have multiple tasks active at once, diminishing our overall performance.

Do similar things at once, in a batch – for speed and to keep your sanity!

Simple Advice We Need

Much of Susie Moore’s advice is practical enough to apply to every day. Some of it will get us asking deeper questions.

A lot of our stress is self-created; where could we find ways to let things be easy?

Where could you find a way to let it be easy? I’d love to hear from you! You can comment here, email me at mary@stayathomefit.com, or find me on Facebook or Instagram.
