I am obsessed with pretty notebooks, pens that write just right, cults, vampires, crystal meth (reading about it, not doing it), and personal development books. If that doesn’t sound like a good time, I don’t know what does…But, of all those things, personal development books might be my favorite. I know they have a bad reputation, I know they sound terribly cheesy, I know a lot of people roll their eyes at the whole thing. I also know they can be life-changing and powerful. So, without further ado, I give you my list of 50 personal development books…

Start simple…
If you’re new to the personal development book world, I’d start with a no-nonsense one. My categories are very, very generalized and quite possibly wrong for a few of them! But in interest of not over-thinking the list, while somewhat differentiating the books, I went with those 3 simple categories…Future posts will be more specific, providing categories and blurbs! (Categories AND blurbs! I can’t wait!)
I was so tempted to write a little blurb about each one, but felt it better to keep it at a simple list. However, I have written book reviews on a few of them- so if there’s a link you can check out the book review there. Want to know more? Ask me- I love talking about this stuff!! Want a recommendation for a particular area? Ask me- please!! For real, I LOVE talking about this stuff. Have a recommendation? Tell me- please!! I love my “to read” list and love adding to it…
